Sunset Home

Long-term Care Where People Matter

*New, state-of-the-art nursing center opened in 2009.

Sunset Home has been providing the very best in quality, compassionate care since our doors opened in 1954. Rooted in the mission-driven culture of our ministry, our nursing program has always centered on the people we serve.

In 2009, we opened our newly-constructed nursing center, well-appointed with 128 beds and the latest in technology and equipment. Sunset Home is designed as cozy neighborhoods that provide a soothing, private environment, while offering open community spaces where residents are encouraged to socialize, participate in recreational activities, and explore. Lovely outdoor garden areas flank the edge of the new center, providing residents with a view of Clifton and the Bosque River Valley.

Whether you simply need short-term rehabilitation or a brief respite stay in order to return to independent living, or you have a need for 24-hour nursing or long-term care, Sunset Home offers you the most comprehensive care in the most comforting environment. Our well-trained, interdisciplinary team of licensed nurses, social workers, chaplains, activities directors, therapists and dietary staff crafts an individualized care plan tailored to meet the specific needs of each Sunset Home resident. As we believe that a person’s optimal health is attained by addressing the physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual well-being, we take a holistic approach to your care.

In addition to providing first-class on-site health care through 24-hour nursing services and local physicians, Sunset Home is located just across the street from Goodall-Witcher Hospital and the Clifton Medical Clinic, as well as near some of the state’s top healthcare networks, including Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center and Providence Health Center in Waco, and Scott & White/Hillcrest in Temple.

Sunset Home also offers programs for memory support and rehabilitative therapy.
