What does it take to recover from a surgery, a stroke or another medical misfortune? The journey back to wellness can be a long one that not only involves the healing process, but also re-learning daily tasks often taken for granted—tasks like walking, dressing, or reentering the community.

Fortunately, residents in and around Clifton have a hopeful answer in The Overlook Rehabilitation Center, Sunset’s rehabilitative therapy program. Our goal is to assist each individual, based on their potential, in achieving and maintaining the highest possible level of functionality, mobility and physical well-being.

An experienced clinical team of physical, occupational and speech therapists offer comprehensive rehabilitation services to help patients achieve their greatest possible level of independence, allowing for a safe return home or to a lower level of care. Our expanded therapy clinic, where an array of modalities are provided daily, is well-appointed offering the latest in equipment, experienced clinical staff and a track record of success.

In addition to making its services accessible throughout the community of Clifton, wellness and the prevention of falls and injuries for Sunset residents are among The Overlook’s primary objectives.

The Overlook Rehabilitation Center is available to Lutheran Sunset Ministries residents and members of the broader community. We accept private pay, Medicare, Medicaid and long-term care insurance policies. (Qualifying conditions may apply.)
