Memory Support that Encourages Meaningful Living
At the Sales Family Hope Center, home to Sunset’s memory support program, we are focused not just on providing comfort and treatment, but on creating a meaningful existence for our residents who are experiencing memory loss, Alzheimer’s Disease, and other types of dementia.
Adjacent to Sunset Home, the 32-bed, newly-constructed Center sits perched on a hill at the highest point of the campus, giving residents access to sweeping views of the Bosque River Valley. The open-plan building was architecturally designed to maximize independence and comfort for memory support residents: neighborhoods of private rooms are adjoined by a great community area, where airy, uncluttered spaces encourage residents to explore at ease. As moving about freely, both indoors and out, is important to the wellbeing of those who are experiencing symptoms of disorientation or confusion, the Center’s beautiful, secured gardens provide residents with further serenity and room for exploration.
While the building design was a bold step, the long-term, experienced staff provides the continuity that gives Sunset its trusted name. Our trained medical staff and caregivers provide compassionate care to offer residents the best possible treatment.
At the Sales Family Hope Center, we strive to provide for residents beyond their medical needs, however, in an effort to bring a sense of purpose to their lives. Special activities and programs, customized for both individuals and groups, encourage growth and enhance capabilities.
