Dining Experience Manager

Windmill Café – an exciting, new dining experience for everyone, with programming available to older adults in Clifton, TX (Opening late summer/early fall 2017)

The Windmill Café is looking for an experienced and highly motivated dining experience manager. The dining experience manager will be responsible for the overall operations for the back of house and kitchen area of Windmill Café. They will prepare a very limited breakfast and lunch menu, five days a week, in a small café setting. This position will work closely with the café director to plan weekly menus, purchase food and stock items, make sure the kitchen is properly cleaned on a regular schedule, food is disposed of properly and the kitchen meets all sanitary standards. They must be trained on proper food preparation and kitchen safety techniques and keep tabs on food cost and waste. Good candidates will exemplify customer services skills, attention to detail, leadership, management skills, organizational skills and problem solving skills. This position will also serve as the cashier using a simple point of sale system.

Dietary Aide/Food Service Worker (Full time position) Prepares and cleans resident dining areas, assists with meal preparation and service to Sunset Home residents.

Cook-Food Service (Full time position) Prepares nutritious and appealing meals for long-term care residents, visitors and staff. Experience in institutional food service combined with safe food handling certification is preferred.

Charge Nurse – LVN or RN (Full time position)  Applicant must hold a current Texas LVN or RN license.

Certified Nurse Aide (Full time position) Full time positions are available on a variety of shifts. A $1.75/hour shift differential is paid for work scheduled and performed between 2:00 PM and 6:00 AM.

Housekeeping Aide (Full time position) Maintaining the floors and sanitation of the Sunset Home. The successful candidate must be flexible and able to work in all aspects of environmental services: floor maintenance, building and resident room sanitation and laundry service.

Nurse Aide Trainee Apply for employment to train as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) at Sunset Home. The next class, scheduled for May 2017, offers a great opportunity for individuals seeking to start a fulfilling career in healthcare. Successful applicants are expected to continue full time employment with Lutheran Sunset Ministries.
